I'm a multi-faceted artist based in New Zealand with roots in Japan and Malaysia where I spent some of my childhood. My first camera was a disposable film camera as a child, but I didn't actively pursue photography until 2014 when I became somewhat unsatisfied with the quality of my phone camera and invested in my first mirrorless digital camera.
Flipping through my treasured childhood albums, I fell in love with the simplicity of film photography and its ability to invoke nostalgia and yearning in a single frame. I still love shooting with film but I'm passionate about bringing this same quality across into digital photography and finding the beauty in fleeting moments.
Through my lens, I hope to leave something beautiful, meaningful and long-lasting behind.
With love,
Nasha
